The calculator answers "how much should this account do today". LinkedIn itself publishes very few numbers, and the ones it does are worth knowing exactly. Checked on its help pages on 14 October 2026:

  • Personalized invitations. Basic and free members can add a personal note to five connection requests a month; Premium members can add one to every request (Invitation limit reached).
  • The weekly invitation limit has no published number. Every member is subject to it. Reaching it can restrict sending invitations, the restriction typically lasts one week, and withdrawing pending invitations does not lift it (same page).
  • Withdrawn invitations. After you withdraw one, you cannot invite the same person again for up to three weeks (Types of restrictions for sending invitations).
  • Network size. At most 30,000 first-degree connections (same page).
  • The commercial use limit. Free accounts get a monthly allowance of searching and browsing; it resets at midnight PST on the 1st of each calendar month, and LinkedIn does not show how much is left (Commercial use limit).

Everything else people quote as "the LinkedIn limit" is observed, not published. Our guides lay out what is observed per plan: LinkedIn limits in 2026 for every cap in one table, and LinkedIn connection request limits for invitations and the weekly window.
